Eating Disorders

By exploring the underlying triggers to our eating problems we can develop a more realistic understanding of our self image and self worth which may enable us to establish a more balanced relationship with food.

Whatever the type of eating disorder that we may be experiencing anorexia, bulimia nervosa or binge eating working towards a better understanding of the way that we view food in relation to our body image can support our journey to find a more positive relationship with ourselves and the food we eat. Counselling may be able to provide a safe environment where we can feel secure that our views and behaviours are not going to be judged in any way. This may give us the confidence to work towards gaining understanding of how to reach a relationship with eating that is balanced, healthy and secure.
